About the artist and his work:
Frank Boettger, pioneering artist in computer software design, created digital prints as early as 1969, long before computers became known to the average person. The look and appearance of the prints were way ahead of their time and are today accepted as a sought after piece of modern art with their clean geometric lines. Perfectly and exquisitely suitable for today's modern homes, shops or offices. Enlarged and framed they will enhance every surround with awe and immediately become the centre piece of discussion. The usual question 'What are they?' , 'How were they made?' and 'Where can you buy them?' can now be answered. Being created with mathematical expressions, it was an enormous task for the artist to achieve this result, especially if you remember, in 1969 there were no monitors, no keyboards, no Google, no paint shop pro or the like. Sad enough that these vintage designs were hidden for 45 years, finally the artist’s daughters have encouraged their father to publish them as they are truly vintage and authentic.
