261,000 Km. Don?t be put off by the mileage ? lot of highway use. Very comfortable and economical highway cruiser.
Always serviced by Saab specialists. Has Logbook and full service history. This car has been meticulously maintained, and still drives very well. All Saabs are not the same, especially as they get older ? this is a good one.
Oil and filter changes every 5000 Km. Cam chain, sprockets, guide, water pump, head gasket, balancer shaft chain and tensioner were changed at 223,000 Km. Sump was removed, cleaned out, and oil pump strainer cleaned ? very little sludge found. Beware those cars that have stuck to the 15000 Km service interval.
Auto transmission oil has been regularly flushed and changed ? oil stays very clean.
To ensure good reliability, a number of the potentially ?troublesome? Saab components have been changed out or replaced:- Heater bypass valve, Ignition pack, Crank angle sensor, Fuel pump, new rear shock absorbers, suspension bushes, new radiator and hoses, new alternator.
Near new battery.
Quality new tyres ? Yokohama C Drive.
Very straight bodywork.
Has been well looked after - regularly cleaned and polished. Interior leather regularly treated with conditioner, and is like new. Genuine Saab floor mats. Non-smoker?s car.
Air bags, ABS, remote central locking, Premium sound system and CD player, cold A/C (recently given a full service), cruise control.
Still feels very solid and performs well. Includes Saab towbar (not fitted).
